EK PHOTOGRAPHY FUNDRAISING
Hearts for Haiti is a non-profit that fundraises money to provide resources for their partnering orphanages in Haiti. Since being founded in 2001, Haiti has experienced devastating damage, after already being in the world’s top 8 under-developed countries. Co-Founder, Jill Jarrett, has traveled to Haiti on various occasions to assist with the orphanages/ resources, provide relief to hurricane survivors, and visit the cute little faces that we fundraise for.
buildOn works in the top under-developed countries by bringing sustainable resources into some of the most impoverished communities. buildOn and volunteers spend an average of 1-2 weeks living with host families, learning and living these new cultures, but most importantly building a brand new school! The school is contracted to send 50% boys/ 50% girls, and provides classes to ALL generations. Several community members cannot read or write, but buildOn is here to break the cycle of poverty, illiteracy, and low expectations through service and education.
